Meet Our Staff
Rod McDowall, Operations ManagerKnown as Uncle Rod to his fans, Rod was not always "large and in charge." He came to Grand Cayman from South Australia, via the Greek Islands and the Red Sea. For years, Rod worked as a dive instructor for another company on the island. He joined Red Sail Sports in 1987, which at the time was just a small dive operation of 25 employees. With his magic touch, he has guided the company to great success. When asked which of his skills he attributes to the success of the company, he claims the success is not due to him - he only manages a team of highly qualified and professional staff. On the weekends, Rod can be found underwater, teaching his kids how to feed stingrays. Once a dive instructor, always a dive instructor! |
