Rum Point Activities:

Please note that ferry service is temporarily
suspended.
No visit to Grand Cayman is complete without a visit to the beautiful North
Side and the famous Rum Point. The Rum Point Club on the North side of
the island has always been famous for its picturesque setting, "real" island
atmosphere, hammocks on the beach and the wreck bar featuring the best
Mudslides in town (a Mudslide is a refreshing frozen drink –– not
a natural disaster!)
Once guests arrive at Rum Point
there is plenty to do –– or not do –– depending on
how you wish to plan the day! If you're looking for relaxation, there
are plenty of hammocks strung to the shady trees on the beach. Or the wreck
bar will keep you refreshed with tropical drinks, delicious barbecue and
island fare. The water is very shallow and clear here, so it's perfect
for swimming, snorkeling or just lazing around on a raft.
Red Sail Sports has an impressive full-service watersports center with all
the favorite beach toys for rent such as, sailboats, Waverunners, and waterskiing.
The Waverunners are moored off shore to avoid disturbing those relaxing on
the beach. There is also a retail section with sundries, T-shirts, souvenirs,
and more. A Glass-Bottom Boat will take passengers, snorkelers and divers
to world famous Stingray City, the sand bar and nearby coral reefs. Red Sail
Sports will also run daily dive trips to the North Wall and if you're
staying on the north side of the island, the ferry is the ideal way to reach
Seven Mile Beach for west side dives.

We offer four snorkel trips daily to Stingray Sandbar, which is a convenient
15 minutes away. Play with the Southern Stingrays or stay dry if you choose
to pass on the snorkeling. This trip includes a second snorkel stop at
a shallow reef. Families love this adventure!
