At Red Sail Sports, we believe it is important to play an active roll in the community and to set a good example for our children.

 

That's why we provide education and on the job training for local children. In addition, we offer a number of kids' programs, which are educational, career oriented, and fun.

 

We stay involved with Department of Tourism promotions, we participate with conservation efforts, and we sponsor dive and sporting events. Below is a list of some of our community activities.

 

Eagle Ray Dive Club

The Club offers local children and their parents monthly dive trips, diving certification, and advanced courses. 

 

The first Instructor-led dive is a wall dive to a maxiumum depth of 100 feet for approximately 35 minutes. The second dive is a shallow, buddy dive to 50 or 60 feet for up to 50 minutes with a computer profile. Computers are welcomed and computer profiles are available.

 

Cayman Island Little League

With the emphasis of Little League being on teaching, sportsmanship and teamwork, Red Sail Sports proudly sponsors a team annually.

 

Earth Day

Red Sail Sports gladly donates dive boats and crew for island clean-up.

National Trust Day

Along with the Trust's mission "To preserve natural environments and places of historic significance in the Cayman Islands for present and future generations", Red Sail Sports understands it is everyone's responsibility to protect and preserve Cayman's heritage.

Cayman Hospice Care

Red Sail Sports is pleased to assist Cayman Hospice Care in enhancing and improving the lives of all those in need.

Schools

1. We teach scuba diving in the Physical Education departments of local schools.

2. We offer students career-training opportunities with the Work Experience Program. Students work on our beaches, on our boats and in our shops for a summer.

3. We provide scholarships to Caymanian youth to encourage them to take an active roll in tourism on the island.

Sponsorships

Red Sail Sports offers sponsorship of several local sport and charity teams and community events, such as Catboat races, fishing tournaments, youth and adult swim clubs, cricket and little league softball.

Cayman Islands Tourism Association/Watersports Committee

Through active involvement, Red Sail Sports strives to maintain and exceed dive and watersports industry standards in the Cayman Islands.

Department of Tourism

Red Sail Sports plays an active roll in promoting the Cayman Islands by attending industry trade shows, hosting visiting journalists on our dive and snorkel trips, and by speaking at Travel Agent orientations.
